Last month I took part in an interview for Mr X-Stitch’s eMbroidery column which is a series of interviews with male embroiderers. Given the relatively short space of time in which I’ve been engaging with embroidery I was rather flattered to have been asked to take part.

It seems like word about the Cut-Click Mail Art exhibition at Milkwood is spreading around well and creating the time-lapse video of the installation has paid of as it was posted on the Creative Review website earlier this week and has now featured on this posted on the Guardian website’s Cardiff pages.

It was a nice birthday surprise to see my video of the installation of the Cut-Click Exhibition at the Milkwood Gallery up on the Creative Review website today. I have to thank the fabulous Caroline Twidle for making this happen.

I was rather happy to make the cut for the feature on MA Exhibitions this September in Artists & Illustrators magazine. There’s even a horrendous mugshot next to my painting for you all to poke fun at. I’m not sure quite why I was the only one to end up with my photo next to my work in the feature but I’ve managed to ‘artistically’ photograph the magazine in such a way as to avoid too much embarrassment about it.
