I’ve been working on some smaller individual objects that stand alone, aside from my installations, recently. The piece pictured is something I have been creating for the Welsh Artist of the Year 2010 competition. It’s a strange competition and three dimensional entries are limited to 15″ in any direction. I have taken inspiration from some of my craft activities to produce this which is something of an ode to Wales carft traditions. The pictured item is just a part of the final sculpture.
